ITS worked with the Business Office to make an itemized view of the tuition bill online a reality.  No longer does the College print and mail tuition bills to students, thus saving paper ,toner, envelopes and postage.  However, each new online service means a revision of old procedures.  How will parents know when a bill is delivered and how can they pay it; as in most cases bills are paid by parents?  ITS has resolved this issue with a custom program that will now allow authorized users (parents, guardians, grandparents, etc.) to view student tuition bills, if the student allows it, and then enable the authorized user to pay the bill online.

 

All a student has to do is go to Merlin and provide a login and password for the authorized user.  The student notifies the authorized user that they can view and pay tuition bills and notifies them of the login and password.  If an authorized user's email address is provided the Business Office can also email them that the bill is available for viewing and paying.

 

Currently tuition bills can be paid by VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.  Starting November 12, tuition bills can also be paid by e-check or an American Express credit card.
