Faculty, Staff, Student Telephone Directory Online and Real Time
A committee made up of representatives of all divisions of the College met to discuss the telephone directory that was printed in August of each year. Last year it had a light red, pink and gray cover.
One of the major concerns of the group was that the directory was outdated before it was printed. Many new staff members were not in the directory and after time, students who were no longer enrolled were still listed. Since the directory was very useful the committee explored ways to provide up-to-date information and perhaps save some trees.
A decision was made by the group and a recommendation was sent to Cabinet to no longer print the paper telephone directory but produce an online version of it. The Cabinet approved the recommendation.
Faculty and Staff information is available in the following ways:
- The online searchable directory (name, title, dept., campus location, campus mailbox, office phone number, and email address)
- The online photo directory
- The GroupWise email directory
- Two phone lists (one by alpha name and one by department) on the HR Web site. These two lists will be updated at the beginning of fall, winter, and spring terms.
- A new online telephone directory, available on campus only, that is updated each day. The directory has the following information: name, campus extension, campus mailbox, office location, title, spouse name, home address, and home phone number, if provided.

Student information is available in the following ways:
- The online searchable directory (name and email address)
- The GroupWise email directory
- A new online telephone directory, available on campus only, that is updated each day. The directory has the following information: name, campus phone number, campus mail box, campus room number, and personal phone number.
