BlackBoard was down in the wee hours of the morning---and someone even noticed it.  BlackBoard was down between 3:15 am and 7:45 am today.  The outage was caused by a changed in the back-up schedule which caused the system to abort.  Usually, BlackBoard is down a minute every night when we create a back-up copy.  This problem should not occur again.

 

In the fast-paced technological world new technology replaces old technology quickly.  Blogging is a Social Networking tool that is all the rage.  Now it has been improved with  digital drawing.  SketchCast is a free blogging tool that allows users to record a digital drawing and contemporaneous audio, if desired, and then embed the animated video on a Web site.  You can see what this software can do by visiting   http://sketchcast.com/
