Web Page Looking Odd?
If a web page suddenly looks odd it may be due to Internet Cache. Internet cache is a Temporary Internet File folder on the hard disk of your computer. This is where Web pages and files (such as graphics) are stored as you view them. This speeds up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because it is faster to open them from your hard disk than from the Web. The downside of this is that it takes up space on your hard disk, and it can sometimes cause problems loading a page that you have visited many times before.
Here is how to clean up cache in Firefox
- On the tool bar at the top click on "Tools"
- From the drop down menu select "Options"
- In the Options box main tool bar select "Advanced"
- Select the tab "Network"
- You will then see two items: Connection and Cache. There is a "Clear Now" button associated with Cache click on that button.
You should clear cache periodically and especially if your Web page suddenly looks strange.
