A "Blog" is an abbreviated version of "weblog", which is a term that describes web sites that maintain a chronicle of information.  It is frequently updated, and can contain commentary and links to other Web sites.  For example, many college and university English departments have students in their writing classes post their essays on a blog so that other students in the class can comment on that essay.  Another example of blogging occurs on the College's Website where students are blogging about their North Central College experiences.
