The mechanism that ITS uses to update the antivirus definitions on campus is no longer working.  We will either fix that process or push out a new antivirus program.  In the mean time, you may get a pop up message notifying you that your antivirus definitions are out of date.  We hope to have this problem resolved by the end of the day tomorrow at the latest.

 

As you know we have been upgrading computer equipment on campus.  We started in May and have to personally visit more than 900 PCs on campus.  We believe that we have completed that upgrade for all full-time and half-time faculty and staff.  To ensure that, if you are a full- or half- time faculty or staff member that does not have a black PC, black keyboard and mouse, and a black flat panel monitor please let me know.

 

Black is where it is at for all teaching stations and computer labs.  If that is not true please let me know.

 

We have not yet cascaded student PCs or PT faculty and staff  PCs so please do not report them.  They will be the next group addressed.
