As a reminder beginning Oct. 7, 2007 all customers will be required to dial 1 + area code + seven-digit number when making a call to anyone with a 630 area code.  If you do not follow this new dialing procedure, the call will not be completed.

 

Any programmed dialing equipment will need to be changed also.  Examples of programmed equipment and features include: life safety systems, fax machines, Internet dial-up numbers, alarm and security systems, gates, speed dialers, call-forward settings, voice mail services and similar functions.
