Weekends and email have not been fun lately.  Again this weekend our email system was having problems.  We have put in a call to our spam software provider and found out there is a bug in their software.  They have provided us with a script that will supposedly fix the problem. Yea, and I have ocean front property in Arizona.

 

When it rains it pours.  This morning Datatel was unavailable for a couple of hours.  We were doing an extra step to verify IP addresses connecting to Datatel.  This step caused a long enough delay forl UI to time out.  We removed this extra step and all is well.

 

Close but no cigar.  We had to move NCC TV channels to get all the cable channels and digital TV channels.  That caused a set top programming problem and prevented the College from getting any channels in the 300 range; which are digital channels.  We are working with WOW to have that remedied by Wednesday.  Resident students will get a few more basic channels as a result of this installation.  I believe they will now get CMT, Hallmark, Game Show Network, and the Speed Channel.  Believe it or not we got requests from students in the past for these channels.
