Did you know that Daylight Savings Time will change March 11, the day before final exams? Maybe students will need to be reminded of the change or they may be late for their finals.

 

For individuals that use GroupWise calendaring our best advice is to look at appointments between March 11 and April 1st to make sure that your appointments are displaying the correct time.  You should also look at appointments scheduled from October 28 through November 4 to make sure those times are correct as well.  In addition, if you have scheduled reoccurring appointments it is highly likely that they will be showing the incorrect times from March 11 to April 1 and from October 28 through November 4.

 

ITS has patched a majority of the systems that will be affected by this change.  We are down to patching the last few systems.

 

If your home computers are not patched and you work with files located on  North Central servers it may make the dates on those files incorrect.  For example, if you schedule an appointment in GroupWise from home and did not patch your home computer, it will schedule the incorrect time in GroupWise.
