GroupWise 7 has "Quick Spell Check" which immediately recognizes misspelled words.  To use spell check right-click on any word in the message body or subject line that appears with a squiggly red line beneath it.  Select the proper spelling from the list that appears, or chose to Skip Always, Add to Word List, or Disable Quick Speller.

 

The Find feature in GroupWise 7 allows you to locate text ad items in any folder that you have access to in GroupWise.  You can even search the text of attachments that arrive with GroupWise email.  To find an item or attachment, click Tools on the main menu bar then Find n the drop down menu.  You will then have two choices in which to search: Find and Find by Example.  Enter the text you know is in the message or attachment,  enter the author if you know it, check the items types that you wish to search, enter a date range if known, and then check the folders you wish to search.  You can used Advanced Find at the bottom middle to search using multiple words and to narrow your search further.

 

When an HTML message is received, the images are not shown by default for security reasons.  This helps prevent viruses and other malicious attacks through email messages.  To display the images, click the message that states, "GroupWise has prevented images from displaying.  Click here to display the image."

 

You can set up GroupWise to always show the warning, never show the warning, or check Frequent Contacts.  If you select to check Frequent Contacts, it shows the images in messages from people listed in your Frequent Contacts address book.  To change the default on the main menu bar click on Tools then Options from the drop down menu and then Environment.   From the Tabbed list select Default Actions.  Check the appropriate setting in the upper right. under HTML External Images.
