Earlier today, ITS discovered that campus-owned Mac computers were not allowing users to log in if they were connected via a wired Ethernet connection.
We have found the root cause of this issue and the resolution is currently being pushed to all campus Mac computers. Campus Mac computers that are connected to the wired network will automatically receive this update.
However, if your Mac is currently not on campus, you will not receive this update until you return to campus and connect to a NCC network. (wired or wireless)
If you and your Mac are off-campus, you can avoid login problems when you return by installing the fix ahead of time. Just download the installer file below and follow the on screen instructions. ( You may need to open the installer by holding down the ctrl key and left clicking on the file)
