The instructions below are for configuring Windows Vista to
connect to NCC's Wireless Network.
It is VERY important that users install current service packs
and critical updates prior to configuring your wireless connection (Microsoft Windows Update).
1.
Verify
that you have installed all current service packs and critical updates prior
to configuring your wireless connection.
2.
Verify
that there is an Access Point near by.
3.
Check your wireless card.
- Click Start -> Control Panel
- Click on Manage Network Connections
- The description next to the wireless card will tell you what kind of wireless card you have.
- If you have an Intel PROSet Card click here. All other cards go here.
