The instructions that follow are for users of Macintosh OS
10.4 “Tiger" with an Airport card.
1.
Confirm
the latest driver for your wireless NIC is installed.
2.
Verify
that there is an Access Point near by.
3.
Verify
that the you have an airport card in your desktop and/or laptop, and follow
these steps:

Step 1: Verify that Airport has been turned
on. To do this, look in the upper right hand corner of your screen
near the clock. If it is already on, the icon will look like the
first picture shown to the right. If the Airport is off, it will
look like the second picture.

Step 2: If the Airport card is not on, click on
the Airport icon, and select Turn Airport On.

Step 3: Launch Other… Go to the
Airport Status in the Menu Bar and select Other . . .

Step 3: In the Network Name: field enter NCC_Wireless.
Step 4: In the Wireless
Security: drop down box select: 802.1X
WEP
Step 5:
Enter your NCC
username and password and click OK
|

Step 6: After you connect for the first
time, a non-trusted server certificate dialog window will appear.
Click Continue.
