Congratulations! Soon you will be embarking on new adventures - a career, graduate school, travel - the possibilities are endless!

As a student at North Central College, you have been using NCC email , Merlin, Blackboard, and you've been storing files on the college network drives. Now, as you are making plans for your next step, it's time to move any information that you may need in the future from NCC to a new service or location.

Your NCC account will remain active until January 18th, 2010. Here are some tips on what to do with your important documents.

Email

• Obtain a non-NCC email account, if you don't already have one
• Detach and save any attachments on emails currently in your inbox
• Retrieve any emails you may want to keep and save them to a flash drive or CD/DVD .
(To do this, open the email, right click anywhere on the email, and use the Save Page As... option.)

Network Drives

• Backup any documents currently residing on your F: drive (or W: or K: drive) to a flash drive or cd/dvd

Merlin

• Print an Unofficial Transcript or request an Official Transcript
• Print a copy of your GPA or Grades by Term for your records
• Review/print your Account Summary

Blackboard

• Backup any documents in Blackboard that you may want to refer to at a later date (ie., presentations)
